Before Roy David MD held a scalpel in San Diego, he held a rifle in Israel. A paratrooper and combat medic before medical school, he brought the discipline of pressure-tested decisions into the operating room — and never left it behind.
His undergraduate career at UC San Diego ended summa cum laude, Regents Scholar. He attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, then completed a residency in Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery. His hair restoration fellowship was completed through the American Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery under Dr. Daniel Rousso — a former academy president widely considered among the most accomplished surgeons in the field.
Dr. David has been in practice in San Diego and La Jolla since 2003, performing thousands of surgical procedures across hair restoration and facial plastics. He also serves as Medical Director of Golden Triangle Plastic Surgery and Medical Spa.
